CHIEF SCOUT HONOUR
RECEIVES FREEDOM OF LONDON Australian and N.Z. Press Association Reed. noon. LONDON, Friday. The Chief Scout, Baron BadenPowell, received the freedom of the city at the Guildhall, in the presence of a distinguished gathering. In returning thanks, he stated that the presentation meant that the Boy Scout movement was recognised as civic, and not militaristic. It was an encouragement for further development. The movement at pi'esent was touching only the fringe of the country's boyhood.
