The executive of the Matamata A. and P. Association met on Wednesday, Mr. W. S. Wilson presiding. A trotting event is to be included in the programme for the next show and money or trophies to the value of 25gns are to be awarded for first and second places in the event. A committee consisting of Messrs. W. S. Wilson, A. J. Young, C. G. Payne, M. Gould, J. E. West, A. S. Thirlwall, F. Underwood and the secretary wa§ set up to revise the schedule. The following list of local judges was sent forward to the Auckland Provincial Council: Draught horses, F. Richmond and W. Laird; light horses, C. G. Payse, C. Morgan and R. A. Bent; Jerseys, W. Mears; Friesians, E. C. Banks and A. S. Thirlwall,
