TURKISH CORDIALITY
ADMIRAL FIELD DEEPLY IMPRESSED BRITISH NAVAL VISIT British Official Wireless RUGBY, Wednesday. Admiral Sir Frederick Field, commander in chief of the Mediterranean Fleet, who last week proceeded with a British squadron on a visit to Constantinople, in company with the British Ambassador to Turkey, Sir George Clerk, was received yesterday by the Turkish President, Kemal Pasha, at Angora. Later the admiral visited the Premier, the Foreign Minister, and the Minister of National Defence, and attended a luncheon given in his honour. In the evening the admiral attended a banquet given by the Foreign Minister. He will return to Constantinople this evening. Admiral Field, in an interview, recorded the deep impression Turkish cordiality had made upon him.
