LAST GAME OF VISIT
TEAMS FOR SATURDAY 9 The South Sydney League footballers will play the last match of their short visit to New Zealand at Carlaw Park on Saturday afternoon next, when they again meet the Auckland champion of champions, Marist. The Sydney men returned to Auckland from Huntly last evening by car, and after their fine display against Huntly, they can be expected to take Marist all the way. Following are the probable sides for Saturday’s match: South Sydney.—Fullback, Spillane; threequarters, Wearing, Quinlivan, Eyers, Manning: halves, Why, Blair, Stewart (one to be omitted); forwards, Watson, Binder, Eggen, F. O’Connor, A. O’Connor, Williams. Marist. Fullback. N. Campbell; threequarters, Batchelor. Brady. McDonald; five-eighths, Brisbane. Gregory; halfback. Hassan: forwards, O’Brien. Campbell, Moisley, Flett, Buane. Clarke, Johnson, Graham (two to be omitted).
