NAME FOR RlOl

TO BE CHOSEN BY AIR COUNCIL UNDERGOING MORE TESTS Australian and N.Z. Press Association LONDON, Tuesday. The RlOl will fly again tomorrow for eight to ten hours, after which a round-Britain flight, including Ireland, will be undertaken. The airship has to undergo four more tests before it will be declared airworthy. These consist of high-speed and vital turning tests, which broke the back of the R3B. RlOl is merely a schedule name, and when the trials are completed it will be christened at the masthead The name will be chosen by the Air Council, submitted to the King, and finally sanctioned by Parliament. It is stated the Air Council is likely to favour a symbolic name, suggested by the airship’s talisman, “My Lady of the Winds,” or “Virgin of the Skies.”

A British Official Wireless message says the RIOO has successfully undergone shed tests and will proceed to Cardington for air tests.
