SCHOOL STEEPLECHASE

TECHNICAL COLLEGE RACES Run under perfect weather conditions, the annual steeplechases of the Seddon Memorial Technical College, which were held at the Domain yesterday over a course of approximately three and a-half miles. In the senior race, 210 boys competed, and for the junior event there was an entry of about 250. Following are the results: Junior Event.—A. Robertson (2m 15s), 21m 495, 1; A. Atkinson (3m), 22m 58s, 2; 13. Lane (3m), 23m 11s, 3; W. Potter (2m 30s), 22m 50s, 4. Fastest time was recorded by A. Simons (15s), in 20m 395. Senior Event.—D. Wilson (2m), 20m 19s, 1; R. Ash (455), 19m 295, 2; K. Paulger (2m 30s), 21m 21s, 3; S. Brewer (lm 15s), 20m 7s, 4. R. Ash secured fastest time in 19m 295. The times for last year’s events were:—Senior, 19m 18 4-ss; junior, 21m 255.
