FALLEN THROUGH
A CABLEGRAM received today from Sydney states that negotiations on behalf of H. R. Telford, lessee of Phar Lap, for the purchase of the A.J.C. Derby winner’s two-year-old sister, owned by Mr. J. Gatenby, and trained by J. M. Cameron at Hastings, have fallen through. It is understood that this filly, who was purchased at the Trentham sales last January for 60gns, would not change hands under a four-figure price.
