-A Xew Plymouth visitor to Auckland is Mrs. T. C. Fookes. Mrs. W. J. Treadwell, of Wanganui, has returned from her visit to Auckland. Mrs. Wheeler, of Auckland, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. F. JJ. Jolly, in Hamilton. Mrs. Culiu Strang, who has been visiting Auckland and Kotorua, has returned to Xew Plymouth. Wellington visitors to Auckland are Miss L. Cohn and Miss Taylor. They are staying at Braeburn. Miss Ella Davis, of Parnell, has returned from a holiday spent* in Christchurch and Ashburton. Mrs. J. Williams has returned to Hamilton. She has been visiting Christchurch. Auckland and Tauranga. Mrs. Frank Graham, of Christchurch, arrived from the South this morning and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. St. Claire Woollams, of Auckland, were passengers by the Marama yesterday. They are visiting Sj’dney. Miss Muir, lady superintendent of the Christchurch Public Hospital, has been visiting Auckland. fcSlie has now returned to Christchurch. Mrs. Xello Porter, of Victoria Avenue, Remuera, is staying at Waiwera House, Rotorua. She will visit Tauranga before returning to Auckland in a fortnight’s time. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Graham, of Christchurch, arrived in Auckland today and are staying at the Grand Hotel. They will go South again on Thursday evening. Miss Ruth Selick, who has been on a long visit to Xew Zealand, where she has been the guest of her sister, Mrs. B. Pirrit, Kiwitalii, Morrinsville, left for Sydney by the Marama on Friday. * * Miss Myers, of Wellington, sister of tlie Chief Justice, the Hon. M. Myers, is. at the request of Sir James Parr, to be a New Zealand delegate to the League of Nations, and is to act as his substitute in certain departments. Mrs. F. W. Wilkes, of Morrinsville, accompanied by Miss Wilkes, sailed by the Marama on Friday for Rangoon and Calcutta, where she will visit her son, Mr. O. D. Wilkes, of the Bengal Pilot Service. Mrs. and Miss Wilkes expect to be away, from New Zealand for about six months.
