Airmen Still Held Up
Although the Auckland airmen in Wellington paid an early visit to the airdrome at 6.30 this morning to ascertain if it would be possible to begin their homeward journey, the wind proved much too strong. Had the machines been taken out of the hangar they would have been blown over. According to Dr. Ividson’s latest report flying conditions should be very good tomorrow and if conditions are favourable the airmen intend to take off at seven o’clock for Masterton.—P.A.
