W.C.T.U. EXECUTIVE

NEW SUPERINTENDENTS WELCOMED The _Auckland distinct executive of the TV omen’s Christian Temperance Union held its regular monthly meeting in the Temperance Societies’ room on Alondav, when Airs. Lee Cowie presided over a large attendance. Several new superintendents of departments were welcomed and methods of working were discussed. Some very encouraging reports on the Bible in schools were given. An increasing amount of correspondence was dealt with, and much business transacted. Miss Read was appointed to represent the W.C.T.U. at the public meeting to be held in connection with the 8.W.A1.U. conference.
