ORIGINAL EVENING IN MORRINSVILLE MANY DANCERS ATTEND The novelty of talkie orchestral music attracted more than 400 people at the Regent Hall, Morrinsville, on Monday evening, the gathering being the largest at any dance held in the building.
THE ball was bold under the auspices of St. Matthew’s Anglican Entertainment Committee, which is to be congratulated on the success achieved. The attraction was undoubtedly the talkie music. and dancers * came from as far afield as Hamilton. Te Aroha and Matamata. The takings were in the vicinity of £6O and after the deduction of ex-
penses the funds of the Anglican Church should benefit considerably.The duties of M.C.’s were carried out by Messrs. It. and T. Goble. I .
