KIRKWOOD AND HAGEN

TO PLAY EXHIBITION GOLF AT WELLINGTON

The Xew Zealand Golf Association advises that a cablegram has been received by Mr. A. D. S. Duncan from J. H. Kirkwood saying that he and Walter Hagen would be willing to play an exhibition match at Wellington on February 26. The council of the Xew Zealand Golf Association has approached the Miramar Golf Club, and it has been arranged that the match be played at Miramar on the date mentioned, February 2G. It should prove a feature of the year’s golf. It is understood that Kirkwood has also communicated with other' centres;, suggesting further exhibition matches. -
