Electric Construction Company’s Social Club FINAL FUNCTION OF SEASON The social club of the Electric Construction Company of New Zealand held its last dance of the season at the Lewis Eady Hall on Saturday, members and friends attended. Dance music for the evening was supplied by the Snappy Five, this being much appreciated. Among those present were:—• Airs. Colebrook was in delphinium with appliqued skirt; Miss E. n.dgar, flame taffeta and gold lace, period frock; Miss r>. Douglas, larkspur blue georgette and lace; Miss D. Turo°tt* blue taffeta, uneven hemline; Miss h>. Cornish, geranium georgette, gold lace; Miss T. Cole, apricot geoi'gette, relieved with gold trimmings; Miss Allan, ciel blue chiffon frock; Miss Alma Cole cyclamen georgette frock, with shawl; Miss G. Maher, black taffeta, with frills, panne velvet: Miss D. Butland, lemon georgetto and diamente: Miss Gladys Buckley, ankle-length frock of lace over pink satin; Miss Rose Anderson, black taffeta, and tulle, with shoulder trail of pink roses; Miss Norma Lome, black georgette over cherry satin and Chinese shawl; Miss M. Johnson, shell pink beaded georgette. Miss C. Brown had on pink georgette with uneven hemline; Miss L. Coyle, grey georgette, period frock; Miss A. Ramsay, black sequined frock, relieved with lace; Miss R. Prideuax, sky blue georgette, with appliqued bodice: Miss Marion Bathgate, shell pink retailed Irock, with uneven hem; Aliss A. Stenbv, green crepe de chine; Miss R. Harflt, flame sequined frock, with flame shawl; Miss Lee Hill, mauve georgette and lace; Miss D. Edgar, rose beaded georgette and jade shawl; Miss Adele McGlusky (Rangoon), hand-painted pansies on eau de nil georgette. M-iss Fifl Wild was wearing black georgette, with rainbow sash; Miss L. Stonliam, white satin and georgette, with jade shawl; Miss P. Fountain, apricot georgette and silver tissue; Miss Prideaux, sky blue and pink georgette; Miss R. McLeod, electric blue ring velvet, with red panels, ankle-length; Miss Humphrey, cyclamen pink taffeta, with tangerine trimming; Miss E. Irvine, jade crepe de chine, with silver trimming; Miss R. Pearce, creme georgette frock; Miss J. Blow, daffodil georgette and green evening shawl; Miss G. Shirley, ecru lace over pink satin; Miss Dagmar Slavonski, lavender with lace, uneven hem.
