Miss Jean Begg, of the Y.W.C.A., who has been visiting Dunedin, returned to Auckland yesterday. Mrs. J. C. Holmes and Miss Holmes, of Masterton. are visiting Auckland, and are staying at the Hotel Cargen. Miss Marie Heald, of Hunua, who has been spending a holiday with her aunt in Napier, returns to her home today.
An overseas visitor to the Dominion is Miss M. Wright, of Toronto, who is at present staying at the Grand Hotel.
Miss E. D. Dinneen, of Remuera, who has been touring England and the Continent, returned home by the Niagara yesterday. Mrs. Moyle, of Christchurch, is spending a holiday in Auckland as the guest of her sister, Mrs. W. Carson, Benson Koad, Remuera.
Mrs. R. B. Cranwell, accompanied by Mrs. Ivey, a visitor from England, return to Hamilton early this week from a visit to Auckland.
Mrs. Frank Ruddenklrn, of Rangitata Island, and her daughter, accompanied by Miss Dulcie Buddenklan, of Downlands, Waimate, is visiting Auckland, and is the guest of her mother Mrs. Walter Bowles, of Cotter Avenue Remuera.

Day, of Hamilton, returned from a trip to Europe, by K.M.S. Niagara. FLAG BRIDGE On Friday evening at her home on Frankton Hill, Miss Fran Jolly, aided by other members of the Girls' Diocesan Association, ot'ganised a. very bright party to raise funds for the library of the Waikato Diocesan School. Miss Jolly was wearing a pretty georgette frock of shrimp pink. Flag bridge was played and at the end of the evening several tables Were equal, but the prizes were finally won by Miss Margaret Clayton-Greene, Miss Hath Wilson and Mr. Gordon Simmons. Among those present were: Mrs. Alan Matthews, Mrs. Hubert Hammond, Mrs. R. Worley, Miss Ruby Vickery. Kemp, of Glen Massey, who is soon to be married, was tlre~ guest of honour at a very enjoyable dance party in the Glen Massey Hall recently. The organisers were Mrs. J. Bowen, Mrs. G. Bull ancP Mrs. G. Dick. The guests all brought gifts, which Miss Kemp unpacked at the gay supper, and were brightly acknowledged by her. Mr. Cox, her fiance, and Mr. S.
