DROWNED IN RIVER

CHRISTCHURCH TRAGEDY Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. The body of Mr. Edward Maginness, aged 51, married, was found in the Heathcote River at St. Martin’s this afternoon, after dragging operations had been carried out by the police. Mr. Maginness was employed as cashier by the Kaiapoi Woollen Company. He was missing from his home since early this morning, and when his hat was found in the Heathcote River dragging operations were commenced.
