NEW VICAR INDUCTED
PT. CHEVALIER ANGLICANS The Rev. Edgar Ward, who has been appointed vicar of the Church of the Ascension, Point Chevalier, as successor to the late Rev. W. E. Gillam, was inducted yesterday morning by Archdeacon Hawkins. There were large congregations at both the morning and evening services. Sea Scouts under Captain Price and Girl Guides in charge of Captain Mills paraded in uniform. A framed photograph of Mr. Gillam has been presented to the vestry by Mrs. Gillam.
