NAME OF A KINGDOM

YUGOSLAVIA APPROVED BY CABINET UNWIELDLY TITLE DROPPED Australian and N.Z. Pres 3 Association BELGRADE, Thursday. King Alexander presided at an Important meeting of the Cabinet, at which it was decided to alter the official name of the kingdom to Yugoslavia, instead of the Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes. His Majesty’s idea is to make his subjects feel that they are citizens of a united State instead of members of semi-tribal groups. The administration in future will be centralised in nine large territorial divisions instead of the present 33 departments.
