MONTHLY DANCE
SOCIAL COMMITTEE OF ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH BIRKENHEAD EVENING The social committee of All Saints’ Church, Birkenhead, held its monthly dance in the Parish Hall, Birkenhead, on Thursday evening, which proved very successful. The hall was decorated with brightly-coloured streamers and arum lilies. Messrs. F. Bromley and R. Robertson successfully carried out the duties of M.C., and the dance music supplied by Miss Phyllis Lariated. The spot waltz was won by Miss V. XickalJs and Air. Mullins. Among those present were: Airs. Gilfillan, who wore a black georgette frock; Airs. L. Bland, primrose taffeta with uneven hem dipping at sides; Airs. B. Ellis, shell pink lace frock, with uneven hem; Miss Renee Wood, delphinium blue satin, with uneven hem and scarlet corsage and posy; Miss J. Betson, rose crepe de chine, with uneven hem; Miss A. J. Strahan, rose beige taffeta, trimmed with silver lace; Atiss A. Cross, frock ot cyclamen crepe de chine; Miss E. Af. Wayne, scarlet georgette, with uneven hem and black shawl; Atiss W. S. Taylor, blue frock, with uneven hem and scarlet posy; Aliss Jean Browne, ivory, taffeta and gold lace; Aliss P. Wheeler, vieux rose velvet frock; Aliss V. Bailey, red silk relieved with silver ribbon and pa sy; Aliss Sylvia Walton,, apple green silk, with shawl to tone; Aliss Rene Taylor, pale pink taffeta with uneven hem. Aliss Juanita Larenza was in blue satin beaute corsage with ring velvet skirt dipping at sides, beaded in silver spirals; Aliss Phyllis Lanigan, black taffeta with Spanish shawl: Aliss D. Wright, black chiffon velvet, relieved with posy and diamente; Aliss A. Boyle, blue shot taffeta, with uneven hem; ATiss E. Wilkins, green floral georgette frock; Miss E. L. Riley, black satin relieved with diamente; Aliss Af. Edwards, nile green georgette and silver lace; Aliss F. Tothill, apricot crepe de chine with feather motifs; Aliss E. Walker, topez blue ring velvet with silver and pink posy; Aliss A. Green, cream georgette and lace, with pink posy; Aliss G. Ball, frock of black chiffon velvet.
