A "RAINBOW FAIR”
ANNUAL SALE AT TAKAPUNA Streamers of varied hue decorated the Foresters’ Hall, Takapuna, yesterday for the annual sale of work of the St. George’s Presbyterian Church Women’s Society, known this as a "rainbow fair.” Stage and stalls presented a most attractive appearance. The Mayoress of Takapuna, Airs. J. W. Williamson, who declared the fair open, was presented with a bouquet by Cherry Mahon. The group on the platform included the minister, the Rev. Alorgan Richards, and Airs. Richi ards, also Airs. R. X. S. Chisholm, who ' sang a solo, accompanied by Airs. J. | Howie. ! Stallholders were:—Aprons, Airs. | Salmond and Airs. Alills; produce.
