KEEPING A VOW
FRENCH VILLAGE AND NEW CHURCH A new ehurcli dedicated to Joan of Arc is being built at Charleville, in France, in fulfilment of a vow by local citizens that they would erect the structure if France emerged victorious from the war, and the town of Charleville were spared from destruction.
