This coming summer is to be a busy one among the “flannelled” sports, as, in addition to a visit from an English cricket team and a Canadian athletic team, a team of Canadian bowlers is to tour the Dominion. The Canadians will arrive at Wellington on December 30 and will play their first match on January 1. the fixture being against. Auckland. They will play matches in IS centres during the period they are in New Zealand. After playing a number of matches

i in the North Island, they will sail from Wellington for Nelson on January 37. will be in Christchurch on January 32. | and will sail for Australia from the Bluff on February 1. It will be an ex- ; ceedingly strenuous month for the visitors. and much of their travelling will be done by motor-cars. By the time ! that they depart from New Zealand. ! they will have seen a considerable rart ' of the country, but will, doubtless, ba ; somewhat tired of the continual txavI elling.
