JIM GERALD’S REVUE

AT ST. JAMES ON TUESDAY Another change of programme w ill be presented at the St. James Theatre on Tuesday evening, when Jim Gerald makes a welcome reappearance m Auckland after an. absence of four years in Australia. It is not often that a revue with the all-round talent of Jim Gerald’s new company visits this city and Aucklanders will doubtless accord him as warm a> welcome as he received on the last momentous occasion. Jim Gerald is a riot of fun. Throughout Australia and New Zealand he has worked himself into the position of first favourite with his inimitable antics, his gags and expressions. A particularly versatile company supports him, strong in both singing and comedy work. The dancing of the ballet and the work o£ his new jazz band are' both reported to be above the average, and there is every prospect of a most successful season. The box plan is now open at the St. James Theatre.
