SUPREMACY SPELLING

T AST season’s crack two-year-old Supremacy, is not included in W. Stone’s team which arrived at Ellerslie for tomorrow’s racing. Ail has not been well with the son of Chief Ruler, and his mentor was compelled to turn him out ip the paddock, so it is pretty obvious that Supremacy will not rank as this year's Great Northern Guineas winner. Brilliant as a juvenile, and due to make his first appearance with a year tacked on to his age, the Te Awamutu representative added plenty of interest to the classic contest, and he was justifiably expected to bo prominent at the end. Now the stable will need to rely on Motere to carry off the race, and with a vigorous rider aboard he may get in the money.
