CITY COUNCIL’S INQUIRIES The period for the presentation o' a report on the question of establishing a commercial air port ift Auckland was extended by the City Council last evening. A notice of motion on the question of investigation was brought forward last May by Cr. G. W. Hutchison. The council instructed a committee of investigation to present a report not. later than September 26. The committee notified that it had gained a considerable amount of valuable information on the question, Its investigations were being continued and it would require an extension of time for completion of its inquiries.
