SEAMEN’S JEWEL THEFT
Pleading guilty to the theft of jewellery valued at £9 15s from the Shaw, Savill and Albion Shipping Company yesterday, Leonard William Sharp, a seaman aged 51. was remanded at the Police Court this morning for sentence until October 10. Chiet-Detec-tive Hammond said that the man was n only last e\enine>. were further inquiries to be made.
