STAFF DANCE
PARTY IN INTER-HOUSE CLUB ROOMS The staff of the firm of G. G. Ashley gave a most enjoyable dance on Tuesday evening at the Girls’ Club rooms. The dance room was decorated with brightly-coloured streamers, the supper tables a colour scheme of golden poppies and the firm’s colours, blue and gold. Excellent music was supplied by Edgar Bendall and his band of merrymakers. Among those present were: Mrs. G. Ashley, who wore a frock of black crepe de chine, with ring velvet wrap; Mrs. AV. Reynolds, rose satin beaute and georgette, with uneven hem; Miss Cleo Melville, phlox lame and georgette, ankle length; Miss Milly Ashley, black taffeta and black velvet; Miss M. Keane, black lace and sequined bridge coat; Miss Ella Chalmers, rose du barri Chantilly lace, with ankle-length uneven hem; Miss Cube Koefoed, white and silver frock with posy of crimson tulips; Miss R. Bell, black Chantilly lace, with hip bow of flame velvet; Miss Kath Collins. honey-coloured crepe de chine and gold lace; Miss W. Saunders, phlox pink frock, with ivory shawl; Miss AV. Sum* merhays, gold taffeta frock, with uneven hem, black Spanish shawl; Mrs. Innesdale, black georgette, stencilled in rose and silver; Miss V. Rogers, turquoise blue crepe de chine and silver lace: Miss Nance Connolly, ankle length frock of green tulle and taffeta. Miss B. Kennedy wore .black ring velvet and georgette relieved with lame; Mrs. Dyer, black satin beaute and georgette; Miss V. O'Connor, sunset georgette with flared frills; Miss D. Kimber, blue tinsel and biscuit shawl: Miss Wharton, larkspur blue georgette; Mrs. Robert, sunset crepe de chine and gold lace; Miss X. Rvan, white satin and tulle frock; Miss Xora McShane, blue and gold beaded frock; Miss T*. Birkenhead, lemon crepe de chine; Miss IX Phillips, scarlet satin and tulle.
