IN POSTER COSTUMES manurewa gathering The annual poster dance of the Manurewa Company of Girl Guides Xieia in the Manurewa Picture Theatre eVening ’ a ™ry jolly the hall was prettily decorated with streamers and greenery. The duties of ceremonies were carried out oy Mr. Glesser, Scoutmaster of the Papakura Boy Scouts. Messrs. Gibbs and Darby provided an enjoyable programme of dance numbers. The prizes for the best poster costumes were won by Ida Ellis as Colman s Mustard, Miss Nellie Morgan as Anchor Butter, first, and Miss Gwen * V A l fi_ as Bus Tickets, second, over 12.
