RUGBY REFEREES
ANNUAL MEETING HELD The report presented at the annual meeting of tho Auckland Rugby Football Union Referees’ Association last evening stated that during the season 12 new members had been elected, and had passed as members of the association. The association had a total of 55 active members. The president, Mr. M. V. Kronfeld, commented on the association’s small active membership, and made a plea for new' members to join the association. Tho meeting decided that the aid of the Management Committee of tho Auckland Rugby Union should be solicited in that direction. Mr. S. Kronfeld was unanimously elected a life member in recognition of his valuable past services as a member on the Rugby Union’s Management Committee. Messrs. Sutherland and Guincy were congratulated on their appointments to representative matches. The relations with the Auckland Rugby Union were of the best, the a.ssociation receiving every possible help fronts the governing body. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £1 14s sd. Officers were elected as follow':—President, Mr. At. Kronfeld; vice-presi-dent, Mr. P. Stubbing; treasurer, Mr. S. Peace; executive committee, Messrs. Fowler, Gasparich, Dudson; examinatio committee, Messrs. Pauli, Potter, Moore; member on Auckland Rugby Union’s Management Committee, Mr. Dudson; member on appointments board, Mr. Stubbing; representative on Junior Management Board, Mr. Mackv; vice-president of New Zealand Rugby Referees’ Association, Mr. F. E. Sutherland; delegate to annual conference of New' Zealand Referees, Mr. M. Kronfeld: decisions board, Messrs, Macky, Sutherland, Pauli.
