SOUND BREEDING
A LICE AXWORTHY, the speedy . daughter of Worthy Bond, who failed to race in keeping with her track displays, has been sent to Canterbury on a visit to the American sire, Wrack. The union of such purple-blooded light-harness representatives should result in something pretty useful. When handled as a two-year-old, Alice Axworthy showed remarkable speed for a baby, and later, under S. August’s care, she proved a swallow-catcher on the track. Unfortunately the daughter of Worthy Bond had a bee in her bonnet, which affected her adversely when the orchestra began to play on race days.
