SEPTEMBER S WEATHER
The weather -for the month of September was wet and cold with westeilj- winds predominating. Unusually low temperatures fur September were recorded on several occasions, and a severe frost, which occurred on September 22, did considerable damage to outlying districts. The month, although wet. was, however. drier than usual, the rainfall recorded being 1.2-oin below the average. Bright sunshine about equalled the average.
