Eddie Dowling, star of the Paramount all -talking and singing release, “The Rainbow Man.” once toured Australia as a chorister. He ran away from his home in New England at the age of twelve, shipping as a cabin boy on an Atlantic liner. His singing voice was heard by a London theatrical manager who arranged for him to join the famous St. Paul's choir in London.
