TIVOLI
“IT CAN BE DONE” Glenn Try on, popular comedian, will be seen at the Tivoli Theatre again this evening in his newest picture. ‘‘lt Can 13© Done.” It is a rollicking farce comedy of a backward young man who reads a success-in-ten-lessens book and proceeds to tweak the world by the tail. Adorable- Sue Carol is the heroine and cause of all this inspired ambition. It is lier first appearance opposite Tryoii. The two make a pleasing comedy pair. The picture was directed by Fred Newmeyer, maker of many Harold Lloyd successes. Mann I’age and Kdward Montague wrote tlie story especially for Tryon. One of the highlights, of the tale is a banquet sales talk by Tryon at a publishers* convention, which is screamingly funny. Whether the story proves that success formulae are worth while or not, this picture at least demonstrates the lengths to which a smitten young man will go when a pair of bewitching dark eyes and a radiant smile are pawns in ; the game. “The Royal Rider,” an exciting Kcs Maynard Western story, heads the sup- ! porting programme.
