ALL IS NOT QUIET ON WAIKATO FRONT

THE committee of the Waikato Hunt Club decided to resign from the Auckland Provincial Country Racing Clubs’ Association as a direct protest to the attempt to evlove a scheme whereby the various district committees should have more effective control of racing in their respective racing districts, thereby interfering with the powers of the New Zealand Racing Conference, a body in which the Hunt has complete confidence. This resolution was carried at a meeting of the committee on Friday night.
