WEDDING AT PAEROA
KEESING—MASTERS An interesting wedding took place recently at St. Paul's Church, Paeroa, when Miss Iris Estelle Masters, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Masters, Paeroa, was married to Ernest Arthur Keesing, Te Aroha, the well-known horseman, and second son of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Keesing, of Ellerslie. The Rev. Air. Aleadon performed the ceremony, the bride being given away by her father. Mr. Tracey Moresby was organist for the occasion. The bride’s frock was of ivory georgette and silk net, trimmed with handmade silver roses, with large tulle bow at one side. Her veil was of silk handworked net with deep edging of fine lace, worn in the new cap and cape effect. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white cyclamen and carnations. The chief bridesmaid, Aliss Alyra Keesing, sister of the bridegroom, was frocked in palm green georgette with uneven hem, and green and silver head-dress. Tier bouquet was of cream daffodils and cyclamen. The two little flower girls, June and Joyce Avey, nieces of the bride, wore frocks of pink georgette with frilled skirts and. velvet ribbons to match, and large crinoline hats. Both carried bouquets of primroses. The church had been prettily decorated by friends of the bride, who was met at the church door and presented with a satin horse-shoe and silver bell,-the racing plate of Gold Bud. A reception of 70 guests was afterward held at the Commercial Hotel, Paeroa. Airs. Alasters receiving in a gown of black satin, heavily beaded, and fawn hat. Mrs. Keesing, mother of the bridegroom, wore a grey ensemble with furs, and hat to tone. ENGAGEMENTS The engagement is announced of Florence Charlotte, second daughter of Air. and Airs. Thomas G. Botterill, of Paice Avenue. Alount Eden, to Claude Hector, second son of Air, jand Airs. B. Cadwallader, of Surrey Street, Ponsonby. The engagement is announced of Joyce Evelyn, only daughter of Air. and Airs. P. Dee, of Okoroire Springs, to George Lionel Bramwell Wilkinson, of Wanganui, only son of the Rev. and Airs. G. K. Wilkinson, of Wilton -leWear, County Durham, England.
