CABLE SHIP IN GALE ON WAY TO NORFOLK Advice received in Auckland this morning states that the cable ship Iris is hove to in a heavy gale. No locality was given. The ship is on her way to effect replacements in the deep-sea cables near Norfolk Island. ——
