“A DANGEROUS WOMAN” The soprano voice of the gifted Russian artiste, Baclanova, which was heard for the first time in Paramount's all-talking smash-hit, “The Wolf of “Wall Street,” is featured again singing appealing Russian melodies in “A Dangerous Woman,” which continues as the big attraction at the Roxy' Theatre. Baclanova sings four numbers in the film, which is an all-talking romantic drama of the loves and hates of three white men and one white woman in a civilised colony in the African jungle. The exotic blonde actress was brought to America by Morris Gest as the star of “Carmencita and the Soldier” the Russian version of Carmen. Featured with her in “A Dangerous Woman” are Clive Brook and 'Neil Hamilton. Clyde Cook and Snitz Edwards are cast in the comedy roles. The supporting programme of short talkies includes a two-reel all-talking comedy, a dancing and singing act featuring Joseph Stanley and several songs by Marion Harris, such as “We Love It” and “Afraid of You.”
