HAMILTON LADIES’ C grade players of the Hamilton Ladies’ Golf Club yesterday played for Miss Z. Wathan’s trophy. The best score was returned by Mrs. C. T,. Mac Diarmid, 113. Other scores were:—Mrs. A. McKinnon, 116; Mrs. McCracken, 116. MAUNGAKIEKIE The teams match for members of the Maungakiekie Golf Club set out on the fixture card for tomorrow lias been cancelled. A medal handicap will be played at the Tirirangi links and a bogey handicap at One Tree Hill. CAMBRIDGE CLUB A golf match between women and men of the Cambridge Golf Club resulted in a win for the former by eight matches to seven. The men conceded the women ten strokes each. The results were:—Mrs. Nolan beat J. Banks, 1 up: Mrs. Brown beat A. IT. Nieoll, 1 up; Miss Robinson beat Boyce, 3 and 2; Mrs. J. Banks and Alford, all square; Miss Watt lost to Miller, 2 and 1; Mrs. Sutherland beat Dr. Tod, 1 up: Mrs. Burke beat Nickle, 3 and 2; Miss Thompson and F. Entwistle, all square; Miss Swayne lost to Nelson, 1 down; Mrs. Macky lost to Sawyer, 7 and 6; Miss Cox and Robinson, all square; Miss McCarroll lost to Neely, 2 and 1; Mrs. Mahoney beat J. T. Entwistle, 4 and 3; Miss Short beat Haworth, 5 and 3; Miss Cowley beat Pearce, 1 up: Mrs. Ward lost to Montgomery, 2 down; Miss Brann lost to Hewett, 5 and 4; Mrs. Alford lost to Morrice, 5 and 4. The final of the women’s junior championship was won by Miss Jessie Thompson. Mrs. Swayne was runner-up. WHANGAREI LADIES’ The annual tourney of the Whangarei Ladies’ Golf Club was continued yesterday at the Mount Denby links. The championship results on Wednesday were: Miss Stone (Whangarei) beat Mrs. Fraer (Titirangi), S and 7: Miss Bray (Titirangi) beat Mrs. Reynolds (Whangarei), 1 up: Mrs. Gardner (Whangarei) beat Mrs. Ward (Whangarei), 6 and 5; Miss Hill (Titirangi) beat Mrs. O’Leary (Maungakiekie), 2 up; Mrs. Beattie (Titirangi) beat Mrs. Shroff (Titirangi), 4 and 2; Mrs. Hosking (Titirangi) beat Miss Duder (Titirangi), 6 and 5; Mrs. Stewart (Maungakiekie) beat Miss Grierson (Titirangi), 2 and 1; Miss K. Horton (Maungakiekie) beat Miss Nathan (Whangarei), 9 and 8. The nine-hole bogey handicap was won by Mrs. Ramsay, Whangarei, 4 up. Other scorers were:—Miss Stone, 2 up; Airs. WAIUKU From, Our Own Correspondent WAIUKU. Today. A very enjoyable day was spent on the Waiuku links on Tuesday when eclectic rounds were played. There were visitors from other clubs also present. During the day Miss A. Neil created a record round fox* the ladies with rounds of 42 and 46, making a total of 88 for 16 holes. In conjunction with the eclectic match medal rounds were also held, the morning .medal being won by Miss M. Hull, with a card of 94. 27—67. while Mrs. Sampson was successful with a score of 107, 37—70, in the afternoon. The eclectic match resulted in a tie between Mesdames Forbes and Ohlson and Miss A. Neil, who will play off for the trophy presented by Miss M. Muir. THAMES From Our Own Correspondent THAMES, Today. A bogey match will be played on the Thames links tomorrow. The draw is:— E. J.
