NO BREACH OF PRIVILEGE
REMARK MADE BY MR. ATMORE “JOCULAR MANNER” (THE SON'S Parliamentary Reporter) PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Today. The Select Committee of the House of Representatives investigating Mr. A. M. Samuel’s allegation that the Hon. H. Atmore, the Minister of Education, had committed a breach of privilege by saying that he would “tell them somehting about Egypt,” has decided that no breach was committed. The committee reported that it considered the remark was made in a jocular manner.
