HOTEL DESTROYED
PASSING MOTORIST SEES FLAMES WARNS SLEEPING OCCUPANTS Press Association GREYMOUTH. Today The Rapahoe Hotel was destroyed by fire early this morning. A passing motorist saw the flames, and eutcrinc the hotel found all 12 residents asleep and unaware of the outbreak. There was no water available and little was saved. The licensee was Sir. Jack Doyle, and the building w s owned by Mr. R. Goschich. The insurance on Doyle’s stock was £IOO.
