GRAZIER HEAVILY FINED
ILLEGAL BRANDS, DEFACED EAR-MARKS STOCK THIEVES OPERATING Reed. 11 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. At the Mungindi Police Court, Stephen Mitchell, a grazier, was fined £5 on each of 6S charges of illegally branding sheep, and £2 on each of S 3 charges of defacing earmarks. The fines totalled £556, with £54 costs. The police stated that stock thieves had been operating in the pastoral districts of New South Wales and Queensland lately.
