FLOODS IN MEXICO
LAND ALONG COAST UNDER WATER LOSS IN BANANA CROP (United Service) MEXICO CITY, Saturday. A crop of 19,000 tons of bananas, grown by or for American companies, is under water in a vast flooded district which includes the coastlands in the States of Vera Cruz, Chiapas, and Canpeche. The Mexican railway lias been undermined in many places, and there hav# been numerous mountain t.ides caused by torrential rain. Schools of sharks have gathered along the coast waiting to feed on drowned cattle from the swellin# rivers.
