ATTACKED BY PIRATES

BIAS BAY GANG AGAIN ACTIVE JAPANESE SHIP ROBBED (Australian a>ul N.Z. Press Association) HONG-KONG, Saturday. After having shown no signs of activity for a year, the Bias Bay pirates, led by a 21-year-old girl who speaks English, attacked a Japanese steamer, the Deli Marti, between Amoy and Hong-Kong. Three Indian guards were wounded when the pirates opened fire without warning. The officers were overpowered. and could make no resistance. The only booty secured was £2.000 in money and jewellery taken from the passengers. This is the first Japanese ship that has ever been attacked by Bias Bay pirates.
