A youth, Hubert Sydney Corry, aged 17, was admitted to hospital in a serious condition as a result of being thrown from a motor-cycle late on Friday night. After the accident Corry wandered aimlessly about until daybreak, when he managed to reach a dwelling. He was then in a state of collapse. Corry is an employee of the Post and Telegraph Department at Ashhurst.
