AFTER Pink Coat won the Farewell Handicap at Ashburton on Saturday (telegraphs The Sun’s Christchurch representative), bis trainer, IG. J. Ellis, who was delighted with the colt’s showing, informed him that Pink Coat would go to Ellerslie for the Great Northern Guineas, in which he will be ridden -bv A. E. Ellis.
