CAR BADLY DAMAGED PASSENGERS LITTLE HURT From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. Skidding in loose sand on the Gordonton Road yesterday, a car containing Miss Myrtle Tootel, her mother, her sister, Florence, and Mr. John Schofield, of Hamilton, shot over a culvert. It was prevented from falling through the spare wheel fixture at the rear catching on the concrete. Mrs. Tootel was thrown several feet down the embankment. She was admitted to the Waikato Hospital suffering from shock. The other two women received bruises and abrasions. The car was badly damaged.
