FALL FROM TRAM
MAN SERIOUSLY HURT PLAYING WITH CHILD Severe injuries to the head were received by Mr. Daniel Sheahan. 54, of Allen Road, Grey Lynn, as the result of a fall from a moving tramcar in Surrey Crescent, yesterday afternoon. The injured man, who was standing upon the platform, was playing with a child inside the car. He was seen to lurch, but did not fall until the car rounded the corner of Surrey Crescent. He was removed to the Auckland Hospital, where his condition is reported to be serious.
