BIGAMOUS WEDDING
WIFE AS BRIDESMAID TO OTHER WOMAN AFRAID TO REFUSE REQUEST LONDON, September 10. The story of a wife who acted as bridesmaid at her husband’s bigamous marriage was related in the course of the hearing of a bigamy charge at the Belfast Court. The wife, in evidence, admitted that she knew her husband could not marry a second time, but he asked her to act as bridesma’-d. She was afraid to refuse, she said, because of his temper.
