MACDONALD ARRIVES

READY FOR FIGHT WITH HAY Lachie MacDonald, who fights Artie Hay under the auspices of the Northern Boxing Association at the Town Hall on September 30, arrived here last evening. He will train nightly at Mr. Henry Donovan’s gymnasium in Parnell. “I am a ball of muscle ready to fight for my life,” he said. “I am very fit and will be still more fit when the time for the fight arrives. I am feeling better than I have done for a long time and Hay is in for a hard time.” MacDonald certainly looks the picture of health, having lost the drawn appearance he had when he last fought here.
