ROSS SEA WHALING

SHIPS ON WAY TO N.Z. From Our Own Correspondent WELLINGTON, Today. The Norwegian whaling vessels C. A. Larsen and Sir James Clark Ross will be operating in Antarctic waters again in less than three months. They will be accompanied by the chasers which at present are in winter quarters at Paterson Inlet, Stewart Island. The C. A. Larsen and Sir James Clark Ross are now on their way from Norway and expect to reach New Zealand in the first half of next month. They will probably go at once to Port Chalmers to refit, then proceeding to Stewart Island from where they will make their final departure with the chasers for the Ross Sea.
