MONTH’S DELAY HINTED
THOROUGH PREPARATION ESSENTIAL AMERICA’S DELEGATES (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service J Reed. 9 a.m. WASHINGTON, Mon. The Secretary of State, Mr. H. L. Stimson, said on Monday that recent developments might necessitate holding the proposed five Power naval conference in January instead of in December, because of the necessity of thorough preparation for the meeting. It is expected that the United States delegates to the conference will include the Secretary* of State, Mr. H. L. Stimson; the Ambassador to Britain, General C. G. Dawes; America’s representative at Geneva, Mr. Hugh Gibson; Admiral Hilary P. Jones and Admiral Andrew T. Long. Commander Train, and the Under-Secretary of State, Mr. Cotton, if he -can be spared.
